GastroBash Experience

On September 18th, the GastroBash took place, a class event organized by ChatFrat at the restaurant Dumanga Comidaria, for participants and staff to have contact with the English language in the gastronomic context. Other attractions were live music and dance instructions. Both activities were also carried out in English.

Most of the audience was made up of teenagers who are English students. They took the opportunity to talk among them, especially when interacting during some educational games and, for some, that was their first experience of conversation outside of traditional classes. Being in a relaxed and informal environment, they felt comfortable to practice and some of them believe that this initial experience will be useful in a future international trip.

In general, the teenage audience liked the class event and hopes to participate in future editions, including in other languages.
